A set of 6 stamps were issued by Isle of Man Post on 24th June 2010.
The Island is uniquely served in terms of transport. The Victorians left
their mark with some of the finest locomotives and trams in existence. The
transport enthusiast can travel the length of the Island by antique means
– steam trains, horse trams and electric tram cars are all proudly
maintained while the journey takes in some fabulous scenery.
The set of six stamps is replicated in this A4 format sheet produced by
AG Bradbury in conjunction with Isle of Man Post and features the train
and electric transport with some stunning images. Four stamps are
replicated twice. The labels feature images of an earlier set of stamps
issued by Isle of Man Post.
The set is also available in an Isle of Man collectable A5 souvenir
sheetlet (Illustrated).
